During the 40 days we will be unifying our prayers in 7 Points of Prayer. (click for copy to print)

1.  Pray that God would pour out His Spirit of Righteousness over Southwest Florida (Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades).

2. Pray that the Church would unite as one, coming together under the banner of Jesus and that a momentum of love will begin to transform Southwest Florida through the unified Body of Christ.  Pray also for the protection of God’s pastors, youth pastors and marketplace ministers as they carry the light to places where darkness is entrenched.

3.  Pray that God would continue to heal the land and that the Church would carry a spirit of repentance toward reconciliation as directed by the Holy Spirit.

4. Pray peace upon the schools and the over all school system.  Repent as God leads for the Church not always displaying the heart of the Father toward the public school system, loving them as He loves us.  “For God so loved the world (public school system) that He gave His one and only son….”

5.  Speak Peace upon the atmosphere of the schools and ask God to eliminate bullying, drugs, sex, fights, spirit of laziness, bad study habits, etc. (bind) (loose) a spirit of excellence, truth, righteousness and unconditional love.

6.  Pray for the peace of God to be upon the school board, principals, superintendents, administrators, teachers and students (by name if you can) so that they can experience God’s love and tender mercies.

7.  Pray for believers, students and teachers, to display the heart of the Father to their campus (nation).  Pray for bold love that will result in being a witness (Luke 10) and that they will rise up into the purpose that God has for them.

*For Collier, Glades, Hendry and Charlotte Counties—begin with a foundational prayer strategy and posture of 2 Chronicles 7:14.  This promise of a healed land was prayed for in Lee County in Pray Lee for 40 days in 2009.  Now we join together, praying for the land and the structures above the foundation—beginning with the school systems.  For Lee County, this is a posture to be maintained as we continue to humble ourselves to our God so we may fully enter the ministry of reconciliation without hindrance.
